About: Andy Daro

Andy Daro is a community leader, entrepreneur, musician, and passionate advocate for the city he proudly calls home. Originally from Connecticut, Andy later lived in New York City before relocating to Miami more than a decade ago. Since then, he has built The Daro Team at Compass into one of the top-producing real estate teams in Miami-Dade County and among the leading teams in the United States, earning recognition for market expertise, innovation, and a client-first approach.

His love for travel and culture has taken him throughout Latin America, Europe, and Asia, broadening his perspective and deepening his appreciation for diverse communities and global experiences. Those experiences continue to influence both his professional vision and his commitment to community-building.

Andy is also a guitarist for the Christian rock band The Joy and Thunder, where he blends faith and creativity through music that inspires and uplifts. A lifelong soccer enthusiast, he was formerly a collegiate team captain and all-conference player and remains a devoted supporter of Inter Miami.

In 2022, Andy was elected Commissioner of North Bay Village’s Harbor Island. Since taking office, he has helped drive the city’s growth and visibility, contributing to its emergence as one of the country’s most exciting waterfront communities. Passionate about smart development, community connection, and long-term sustainability, Andy is committed to helping shape a vibrant future for residents and families alike.

Andy lives in North Bay Village with his wife, Krisztina, and their son, Aleksander.
